A minimalist approach to web design.
For artists, a website is more than a portfolio — it is a digital sanctuary. A landing for community and patrons to enter and immediately get a sense of your artistic voice, vision, and mission.
Whether you’re an artist who needs a website refresh or a studio searching for a quick turnaround website build, my process honors your creative integrity through thoughtful, clean, and intentional navigation.

Previous Client Case Studies
Phase 1: Consultation
Before we jump into a conversation, I want to learn more about what you’re looking for through a short questionnaire. From there, let’s chat!
We examine your artistic voice/brand, your current site (what’s working, what would you like changed), and inspirations you feel drawn to.
We identify what your visitors need—whether that’s a seamless gallery experience, a clear contact path, or a simplified upcoming events page.
Phase 2: Style Guide
I translate our conversation into a Mood Board and Style Guide. For artists, this is about creating functional & aesthetic goals
Color palette: Choosing colors that complement, rather than distract from, your medium, and are contrasting enough to provide easy accessibility and readability.
Typography: Selecting fonts that reflect your personal brand while maintaining absolute legibility.
Overall, this establishes a visual language that feels quiet, sophisticated, and true to you.
Phase 3: Wireframes/The Blueprint
Using Wireframes, I map out a structural flow that prioritizes the user's journey through your portfolio.
Wireframes are the blueprint structure of the pages. These will not include any UI elements specified in the style guide (colors, fonts, etc.) to focus on the simple structure and navigation of each main page.
Phase 4: Squarespace Build
I refresh your Squarespace site, focusing on a clean, unique feel that remains easy for you to manage.
All site domains will need to be transferred to Squarespace if your site is not already built on there (I will share resources on how to do this).
I will become a collaborator on your site so I can access the backend without using your login credentials every time.
We finish by walking through every page to refine each design and navigation to your liking.
